- Hey! I am a 17 year old high school student (which isn't saying much), and am a traditionally minded Roman Catholic. I am still discerning a vocation to the priesthood, and I pray my blog will be an outlet for all of my thoughts to be heard and discussed; And also to bring you and others closer to Our Lord Jesus Christ and His One True Church, The Catholic Church.

God, our Father, we ask You to look with mercy and love on Your servant, Benedict, whom You have chosen to govern Your Church and shepherd Your people. May he, through word and through example, direct, sustain and encourage the people in his care so that with them he may share everlasting life in Your kingdom. Amen.

Dear Nate,
Another new thing to learn. Septuagesima Sunday, Sexagesima Sunday, and Quinquagesima Sunday. It took me awhile to figure out where I was suppose to be in the Roman Missal on Sunday but the violet vestments were my big hint and I found my place. By the sounds of all the page flipping I wasn't the only one the that was lost. Thank God for all my friend Erick he is so helpful. He introduced me to the Table of Movalbe Feasts...at the front of the Missal but of course that was after Mass.
It is nice to hear from you again...I think I will be getting my throat blessed again at St. Charles tomorrow night. Can't hurt...one can never have to many blessings ...can one???
Today being the 2nd of the month Our Lady Queen of Peace of Medjugorje gave her message to Visionary Mirjana in Naples, Italy to over ten thousand people. "Dear Children, with Motherly love, today I call you to be a lighthouse to all souls who wander in darkness of ignorance of God's love. That you may shine all the brighter and draw all the more souls, do not permit the untruths which come out of your mouth to silence your conscience. Be perfect. I am leading you with my Motherly hand--a hand of love. Thank you."
